Mosquée d 'Ispahan. 'Esfahan nesf-e jahan' - Ispahan est la Moitié du Monde'.
NB: oui, je n'ai pas beaucoup de nuances des noirs.. c'est juste!! travaillant sur un mauvais portable et ballotée a dos de dromadaire au milieu des nomades, il me manque l'anti-bruit contre vents de sable et les nuits noires pour l'anti-reflet -or ce n'est que pleine lune et soleils de minuit avec des lancées de voeux comme des missiles-:-)) sorry sorry!
Fondée au 6 ieme siècle av JC, cette ville prit de l 'importance au 10 ieme siècle; elle fut la brillante capitale des Seldjoukides du 11 et 12 ieme siècle avec l 'un de plus grands chefs d 'oeuvre de l'art islamique : la Mosquée du Vendredi.
Capitale de l'empire safavide en 1589 , cette ville oasis au coeur du désert devint avec Shah Abbas 1 le symbole de l' 'identité iranienne ; il voulut cette ville 'à l'image du Paradis'. En 1722, elle tomba aux mains des afghans rasant pavillons et jardins.La belle ville d 'émail se reconstruisit et est aujourd ' hui grand un centre universitaire avec 2 millions d' habitants.
